▶ 4th Sunday of July - Pisco day: This festival pays tribute to the main Peruvian cocktail with exhibitions, contests, and demonstrations about the making process of this liquor.
▶ August 20th - Cañete's Anniversary: The last week of August, Cañete celebrates its anniversary, which is celebrated with parades, contests, a Mass, and more activities. It is also known as the "Cañete touristic week".
▶ August 30th - Black Art Festival: On this festivity established in 1971, Cañete celebrates with many manifestations of the afro-Peruvian race like dances, dishes, and music. The purpose of this festival is to remember the African colony that was established in Cañete many years ago.
