About Chincha Norte
Chincha Norte is a small island that is located very close to Pisco, inside the department of Ica. During the 40s, 50s and 60s, Chincha Norte was very important for the economic sector due to its guano (seabird feces) deposits; however, it was a badly exploited resource and it finally dissapeared in 1874.
