Comas is a district located in the province of Lima, created in 1961. Before this, it was a zone where many
landowners lived and where the exploitation of slaves and farmes continued even after the Independency. This happened because the landowners had helped Simón BolÃvar during the campaign, which is why he allowed them to keep their properties, status and, therefore, the social pyramid.
There are a number of operators who provide valuable transport services in Comas. Every bus comes with neat and clean interiors. They also ensure that every passenger's comfort and safety is a top priority at all times. Some of the popular bus operators are:
- Remember to visit the park Sinchi Roca during your days in Comas. It is the perfect place to enjoy with the family because it has a minizoo, areas for soccer and basketball, pools, picnic zone and a food court, among others.
- Another area you can visit is the Fortaleza de Collique, located in the Cerro Pirámide. It is divided in 6 sections: a public section, a residential section, a ceremonial section, a military / defense section, a central section (with a Main Square) and a cementery section.
You can visit Comas in any month of the year, but we advised you to buy your tickets to reach it between November and March. After the winter season, during these months you will enjoy the sun and a better climate.
