About La Victoria
La Victoria is a district that belongs to the province of Lima. It is a commercial zone; in fact, it's characterized by the Gamarra emporium, which is the headquarters of the largest textile industry in the entire province.
La Victoria is the most important transportation area in Peru, as it has more than 400 bus companies that offer their services to all destinations in the country. Many of the bus companies are located on centric and easy-access points for passengers, in avenues like Nicolas Ayllon, Mexico, Javier Prado, and Grau, among others. Thanks to this, La Victoria has more bus terminals than entire cities in Latin America.

- If you are a soccer fan, then we let you know that the Alejandro Villanueva Estadium, the home of Alianza Lima Club, one of the most popular soccer teams in Perú, is located in La Victoria. Located in Maatute, here matches of the League 1 of Peru, Conmebol Libertadores and Conmebol Sudamericana have been played.
- In La Victoria is the San Norberto Church. Here different peruvian cardinals have organized religious masses, also the San Norberto Church is a key place for the organization of the procession of the Señor de los Milagros.
