About Reserva Nacional Paracas
The Paracas National Reserve is a protected area located in the department of Ica. It's a place of great importance due to its ecosystem where many aquatic animals such as pelicans, Humboldt penguins and flamingos live. Around it there are two important tourist points: the Candelabro and the Cathedral. The first is an engraving in the rock of the mountain and the second is a rock formation in a coconut form where sea lions live.
