Tiahuanaco, located in the department of La Paz in Bolivia, is an arquitecture built during the pre-Inca era that is divided in 7 buildings: semi-underground temple, kantatallita, kalasasaya, Akapana pyramid, door of the sun, Putuni and Puma Punku. Tiahuanáco possess a fresh and dry weather. You must be aware during may, june and july, when the temperature drops to 0°C.

- To travel to Bolivia you must get vaccinated against Yellow Fever, Typhoid Fever and Hepatitis A. It is important that you take this into account because, otherwise, you can get infected.
- In Tiahuanaco the altitude is higher than 2000 meters above sea level, so your body may not adapt and suffer from a disease commonly called altitude sickness.
- To visit Tiahuanaco you can go on your own or rent a tourist service. If this is the second case, reserve it in advance to avoid complications.
From January to March are the perfect months to visit Tiahuanaco. During these months the temperature does not exceed 15°C and the minimum temperature is maintained at 4°C.
