It's one of the most representative churches of the province, very frequented by local devoted and tourists who like to get to know architectural attractions. It's located in front of the Plaza Grau. Lobitos is a beach located among the nearest beaches to the city. Its name origin is the high number of seals that could be seen in the past at this area. Its name makes reference to the hill (located at 82 feet/ 25 meters above the sea level) that works as a natural viewpoint to the visitors who come to this beach. In Talara you will find the best and most popular beaches of the North coast. Without going to far away from the city you can spend the summer or practice extreme and water sports in the beaches of Punta Balcones, Lobitos and Capullanas (you can get there in about 15-20 min from the downtown).
